At zweimaleins I'm working as a freelancer on a set of different PHP and Rails projects. Mainly Javascript, jQuery, underscore.js, backbone.js, CSS3 and HTML5. All major frontend navigation elements and visual transitions on the Dreisechsnull website are of my responsibility.

IS Gourmet
Belo Horizonte, Brazil, Aug 2010 - Dec 2010
My first project for a non-IT company. IS Gourmet is a new Cafe & Frozen Yogurt Bar idealized by my family. Inspired on the 50's and 60's, it mixes new waves and flavours with old icons.
Tasks included the customization and implementation of an ERP with 4 point of sales, network self-management (if a POS goes down, the cashier machine can be used as a backup POS without the need of reconfiguration), media streaming to 4 LCD TV's, interactive VoIP voicemail and online security control (so the owners can see what's going on no matter where they are).

Eletro 9
Belo Horizonte, Brazil, Jan 2010 - Dec 2010
Eletro 9, the new Brazilian electronics web store, is probably the most complex and resource intensive project I've managed so far. Planning, researching, designing, developing, implementing and integrating... I had to go through every single step.
The company is using a bunch of different systems and techologies through its operations. The web front is a highly customized and optmized version of Magento, running on Windows 2008 servers. There's the online ERP, which is the only bit of the system managed by third parties. There's an integrated payment gateway, to centralize and validate all payments in our secure environment. There's a dedicated CSR / support website, made using PHP and MySQL. There's an online chat system based on an early versions of LiveZilla and customized to match the company's visual identity. There's a VoIP call center. There's a social media tool to monitor and automatically post new products and best sellers to social networks, made with a mix of PHP and ASP.NET. And finally there's the Intranet, made with .NET 4.0 and connected to everything else. It's a big, complex, yet tightly integrated ecosystem.
Eletro 9 was sold on January 2011 and it's now managed by Sone Info.

GET ME IN! / Ticketmaster
London, UK, Mar 2007 - Dec 2009
Working as a Software Engineer, handling the secondary ticket market for Ticketmaster, trying to make it more secure and less abusive. GET ME IN! has presence in UK, Germany, Netherlands, Sweden, Italy, France and other countries in Europe. I was the one responsible for GET ME IN! Express, a smart client for inventory, events and sales management which is now used by hundreds of clients on a daily basis. Was also the main developer of the brand new GET ME IN! White Label, to integrate contents with third party affiliates. The GMI White Label system was later extended with the GET ME IN! API, implemented using .NET 3.5 WCF Services and available to all our partners.
Although I was working with tons of softwares and technologies on a daily basis, I can say that my focus was .NET 2.0 and 3.5 using C# for both ASP.NET and Windows Forms. I had to deal with some critical performance and security points, like near realtime caching of and encryption of data exchanged between GMI's servers and clients.

Zargon / webAula
Belo Horizonte, Brazil, Jan 2003 - Jan 2007
Worked for around 4 years at webAula, the biggest e-learning solutions provider in Brazil and one of the biggest in the world. Started as an ASP developer at Zargon, which was later on bought by webAula and so we migrated to .NET projects within a few weeks.
I was the main developer of 3 products: webAula Portal, which is the corporate website of the company; webAula Builder, the first 100% online tool for SCORM development and publishing; and webAula HelpCenter, an online support system with integrated chat, FAQ and email. All made using advanced Javascript + XML + HTML + CSS, a mix which would be known as AJAX later on. The platform started on.NET 1.1 and then migrated to 2.0 by the end of 2006, using VB.NET and C#.
